Hello! My name is Elaina Gonzalez and I am teaching 2nd grade Literacy & Social Studies this year. This will be my second year teaching at M. H. Moore ( I actually walked these halls when I was in elementary school.) I am a DHJ alumni and attended Tarleton State University and received my degree! I am a First-Generation College Graduate in my entire family! It’s been a dream of mine to come back to the same neighborhood that helped shaped me and I am so excited to be making that dream a reality. I hope to be a role model for the next generations to come.

Hello, I am a bilingual second grade teacher at M.H. Moore. I will be teaching math, social studies and science to your child. I have been a bilingual teacher for 45 years so I have lots of teaching experience. I am excited to be your child's teacher. My goal is to create a classroom community where your child feels welcome, safe, and excited to learn.
