Hello! My name is Emily Cheekoti, and I am the speech-language pathologist for the MH Moore Elementary campus. The 2025-2026 school year will mark my 5th year both working for FWISD and working in MH Moore Elementary. I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees in speech-language pathology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. I am also a part of the district's assistive technology team. As a speech-language pathologist, I evaluate speech-language difficulties and provide speech-language therapy services in areas such as articulation, language, stuttering, and social skills to those who qualify. In addition, I provide campus team members with recommendations for supporting communication in all of its forms. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, learning Spanish and Telugu, watching movies, and attending local community theatre in the DFW metroplex. I am grateful to be a part of the wonderful and inspiring campus team at MH Moore; go Mustangs!
