Victoria Benzor

Special Education Resource/Inclusion Teacher

I am Victoria Benzor and this is my third year working within FWISD and my first year as a certified Special Education teacher. I am born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas - Arlington. At M. H. Moore I am the resource/inclusion teacher for mathematics, and I provide certain services for our Mustangs who need it. I grew up with a brother with autism who benefited from Fort Worth's special education services and thought I'd follow along another student's journey within Fort Worth. I love to read, eat, dance, and have two fur babies. My cat's name is Sombra and my dogs name is Canela. Thank you for allowing me to serve the community and especially your growing M. H. Moore Mustangs. 

Shandi Gambill

Special Education Resource/Inclusion Teacher 

Hi, I’m Shandi Gambill. I’m an educator with a passion for making learning accessible, meaningful, and inclusive for every student. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of North Texas and my Master’s degree in Education from American College of Education.

I began my career in Montessori schools, where I developed a strong appreciation for educating the whole child and recognizing each student as an individual. Since then, I have taught both history and special education, experiences that have shaped my belief that every student can learn and succeed when given the right support and opportunities.

I’m passionate about making education accessible to everyone and creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, capable, and valued. I love getting to know my students, celebrating their strengths, and helping them build the confidence and skills they need to reach their goals.

My name is Kasandra Gutierrez and I am the Title I TA at MH Moore. This is my second year at MH Moore. It is a privilege to be part of our school community, and I look forward to helping our students learn, grow, and succeed each day. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my family.

Dyslexia

I am an experienced special education teacher and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) and Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong literacy skills, and reach their full potential. I especially enjoy creating supportive, engaging learning experiences that meet each student’s individual needs.

Hello!  This is my eightheenth year of teaching overall and my third year of teaching RISE (Reaching Independence through Structured Education) at M.H. Moore Elementary.  We are looking forward to the first year of Special Olympics at M.H. Moore in several years.  Our Olympians are excited to be competing against other schools.  This will be a terrific year!

My name is Gabriella Sanchez. This is my first year at M.H. Moore and my first-year of teaching. I am so excited to get to learn alongside the students. I can't wait to see the growth we have as a class. I am proud to be a part of this amazing community. My hobbies include listening to Contemporary Christian music, cross-stitching and reading.This will be a great year! 

Isaura Camareno

Special Education RISE Teacher Assistant (Sanchez)

Hello! My name is Isaura Camareno Mendrell and I’m from Puerto Rico. I graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. I have a Bachelor of Science and approved Master of Science Education credits. I moved to the United States in 2018. I worked for 14 years as a Science teacher in Puerto Rico, teaching sixth through ninth-grade students, as a homeroom teacher, and as coordinator of the local and regional Science Fairs. I hold Puerto Rico teacher certifications for General Science and Biology.

When I joined FWISD, I worked as a long-term sub and currently work with the RISE team at M.H. Moore Elementary.
