Amanda Potter

Art

My name is Amanda Potter, and I am the Art Specialist at the fabulous M.H. Moore Elementary! I grew up in Fort Worth and attended the University of North Texas. After spending years working in advertising & design and as a professional baker, I received my teaching certificate in Fine Arts EC-12. My experience as a professional artist and designer allows me to bring real world experience to the classroom and enrich our lessons. I love teaching the foundational skills for art, inspiring my students to explore new mediums, and encouraging them to be lifelong learners. In my free time you can find me hiking, working on photgraphy and ceramics projects and spending time with my family and two fluffy dogs. 

Nicole Hice

Music

My name is Nicole Hice and I am the Music Specialist here at MH Moore. This year will be my 27th year in FWISD and 14th year at MH Moore. Prior to coming to MH Moore, I was a middle school band director for 13 years. I am originally from Houston, Texas. I went to the University of North Texas and received my Bachelors of Music and then attended Kent State for my Masters Degree in Music Education. I love music of all kinds and look forward to helping our students continue their music education this year. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading and attending concerts.
