Nicole Hice

Music

My name is Nicole Hice and I am the Music Specialist at MH Moore. This year will be my 29th year in FWISD and 16th year at MH Moore. Prior to coming to MH Moore, I was a middle school band director for 13 years. I am originally from Houston, Texas. I went to the University of North Texas and received my Bachelors of Music and then attended Kent State for my Masters Degree in Music Education. I love music of all kinds and look forward to helping our students continue their music education this year. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading and attending concerts. 

Jessica Howell

Art

I received my BFA from UTA in Graphic Design in 2000 and then decided to become a teacher. I have a total of 22 years in education: 2 Years in MS, Waco ISD and 20 years in Elementary in FWISD. I currently love working with Mixed Media (paint and fibers). 

I love learning new things each year, so balance through sculpture has always fascinated me–those who can, TEACH! I love helping the students to discover that they can take an idea, make mistakes, add to their ideas, and develop the problem-solving skills they will need to be successful in anything they would like to pursue.

My hobbies include cooking, crochet, swimming, travel when I can and hike when weather permits, movies and coffee. I have been married 26 years to John (also in education in Dallas), have 3 boys, Jay Baker will be a Junior in College, Carter, a freshman in college, and Elliott, 8th grade at The Cambridge School of Dallas. We love animals and are currently very cat friendly.

Jose Ramirez

Physical Education

My name is Jose Ramirez, this will be my 22nd year at MH Moore as the PE Coach. I was born in Michoacán, Mexico. My family moved to Fort Worth when I was 12 years old.  In my free time I love to spend time with my family.  I also enjoy watching baseball and soccer. My favorite teams are the Texas Rangers and Las Chivas Soccer Club. I love to sing and dance. I’m super excited to see what this year brings us. 
 
Mi nombre is Jose Ramirez, este sera mi año numero 22 como maestro de Educacion Fisica en MH Moore. Naci en Michoacán, Mexico. Mi familia se mudo a Fort Worth cuando yo tenia 12 años. En mi tiempo libre me gusta pasarla con mi familia. Tambien me gusta ver juegos de baseball y futbol soccer. Mis equipos favoritos son Los Texas Rangers y Las Chivas. Me encanta bailar y cantar. Estoy super emocionado por comensar este año.

This is my third year at MH Moore. I was born and raised in Mexico growing up in a family full of amazing teachers (my dad and uncles). My hobbies are reading, hiking, and going to a concert every chance I have. 

I love spending time at home with my kids, husband and my fur baby.
