Hello! I'm Cynthia Verduzco, the Data Clerk here at M.H. Moore Elementary. I help keep things running smoothly in the front office and love being part of a team that supports our students and staff every day. Whether it's helping parents, organizing paperwork, or jumping in wherever needed, I'm always happy to help. It’s a joy to work in a school where everyone is focused on making a difference! 

Julie Eldridge

Nurse

My name is Julie Eldridge, RN and I am so happy to be your School Nurse at M.H. Moore Elementary School. I am a graduate of Cottey College and Stephen F. Austin State University where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2004. Before becoming a School Nurse, I worked in various areas of nursing including Post-Operative care, Outpatient Surgery and Case Management. I joined Fort Worth ISD in 2015 and have been the School Nurse at M.H. Moore since 2018. I am married to my husband, Bannon. We have one daughter, Addison, and three dogs, Sweet Caroline, Dixieland Delight & Daisy Mae. My family is originally from South Louisiana where we love to cheer for Louisiana State University! Geaux Tigers!!

Debbie Towns

Counselor

Howdy! 

I am proud to serve as Counselor at M.H. Moore Elementary School. Promoting kindness, self-regulation, and positive behavior strategies are important to me. I love collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to help students be successful academically, behaviorally, and socially. 

I earned my Master of Education in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M in 2017. Whoop! Before becoming a counselor, I taught in Kindergarten through 2nd grade and in junior high for 12 years. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University and a Master’s degree in Management from Texas A&M University - Commerce. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in management.

I am married to my husband, Dave, and we have 5 children and 1 grandchild. We enjoy traveling and going to concerts whenever we have a chance. 

I am looking forward to a great school year! Go Mustangs!

 

Abigail Sowell

Intervention Specialist

Hello! My name is Abigail Sowell, and I am the intervention specialist at M.H. Moore. I am a Licensed Social Worker with 5 years of social work experience. I am dedicated to helping students thrive emotionally and academically. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a bachelor's in Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. My primary goal is to provide a safe place where students can practice coping skills, engage in self-regulation activities, and find support. I also lead peer groups to help students build essential social skills, self-esteem, coping skills, and positive relationships. I am committed to being a supportive partner in your child's educational journey.

 

Linda Abeyta

Librarian

Hello, I am Mrs. Abeyta.  I am M H Moore's librarian.  It has been said, "The school library is the heart of school."   The benefits of reading school library books include: supporting cognitive development, improving language skills, preparing for academic success, increasing concentration, improving imagination and cultivating a lifelong love of reading.
This is my 26th year in education.  I enjoyed teaching for over 20 years before I became a librarian.  My hobbies are dogs and traveling!
